We love Acapulco and Costera avenue. We stopped going to the Costera area because of the bad press about insecurity. We decided to try again, and we were happily surprised. I stayed at this hotel with my family — excellent hotel located basically in the heart of the Acapulco Bay.

The staff is fantastic, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. All rooms face the ocean. I bought the buffet option for breakfast, and it was perfect. Prices are half of what you pay if you go to the zona Diamante. You can walk right into the beach where you can find a lot of friendly people who give cozumel jeep and beach adventure tips, get excellent massages, eat and relax.

There is a mini market (Oxxo) as well as ATMs walking distance from the hotel. I walked in the Costera Avenue, and I felt safe. I will return to this hotel.

My family and I stayed for three nights, and we had the best time ever, my cousin loved the pool and the beach, waves were a little dangerous due to the storm around. We liked the beds and room, very comfortable, a great view of the beach and surroundings. Food was good, expensive as all other Hotel restaurants; If i go back to Acapulco, I will certainly stay again.

I’ve stayed at many different types of beach hotels, from barebones to luxe. This one is an excellent middle of the road option. It is accessible on the wallet, by US standards, and very superior quality.

The rooms are cosy, and I believe every single one faces the beach, with lovely terraces to sit on and listen to the waves. The bathroom was ample, as was the sitting area — the bed, quite comfortable.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The only slight knock I have is that the drinks at the bar are overpriced and not very good. That said, you can easily walk down the block and find any number of great options for a cheaper, better drink. All in all, I would make this my go-to hotel for jaunts to Acapulco.

Hasn’t changed since 1976 except disco is gone and more modern TVs. Excellent service – ask for Fermin at the bar, and bellman Fernando – dining room manager is fantastic! Rooms large and clean and lovely – everyone an ocean view. Almost all with balcony. Check out the Penthouse suites. Loved this place.
