Printable Vernonia Charity Drive Information
Few of us can imagine how devastating it would be to lose your home, your livelihood and your health all in the same year. Yet that is the reality facing a Vernonia, Oregon couple, Wes and Kerrie Constance, following last winter's Vernonia flood. This ambitious couple in their early sixties, need a hand up to get back on their feet. Most urgently, they need to get into a safe and secure home before winter. Insurance will cover only the cost of a new foundation for a used mobile home that has been located for this family. A total of $25,000 is needed to pay for the mobile home and moving it to their property. In order to secure the mobile home, it must be moved by Oct. 31.
